Can users grind coffee beans in a ninja?

You must have bought your coffee beans and you are wondering if you can grind it in a ninja blender, the answer is Yes. You can grind your coffee beans in a ninja blender. The good thing about using a ninja blender is you can control the outcome whether you want it in a fine, medium or coarse texture. It is up to you to decide the one you want and stick with it.

Tips to know before you grind coffee beans in a ninja blender

You can make use of any blender

When you want to grind your coffee beans, making use of any blender can work. If you want to make use of a single-serve cup, it is preferable because it will give you a finer outcome or grind.

You will also gain more control and it will give you an advantage on the final result. If you want you to want a coarse grind, fine or medium you can get them as well, depending on which one suits you best.

When you use a standard pitcher, make it one full cup of coffee beans

When you are using a standard pitcher, it is important you make use of one full cup of coffee beans, if possible, add more. Make use of a steady blade for about twenty five seconds longer or until you get the consistency you wish.

If you use a single serving cup, it is important you take note that you should add at least one cup of beans at a time. Grinding too many beans at a time in the blender will give you different sizes, this is as a result of the volume of beans in the cup.

Simple steps on how to grind your coffee beans in a ninja blender

Step 1: Clean your Ninja Blender

Clean your Ninja blender very well so that the flavour of the previous grind materials will not get into your coffee beans

This is important because it won’t make any sense if the flavour of a spice grind in the Ninja blender gets into your ground coffee beans.

That’s the end to the taste of a brewed coffee.

I’ll advise you use an unscented detergent to always clean your Ninja Blender, with warm water. You should also try to put the part that can be washed in the dishwasher into the dishwasher.

This will allow for proper deep cleaning and conditioning in preparation for grinding coffee beans.

Step 2: Get the number of coffee beans and get your blender ready

Making use of any Ninja blender will work, remember to take precautions we mentioned above depending on the number of coffee beans you want to grind.

I would prefer you use a Ninja Pulse because of its flexibility though. Just ensure that care is taken when you want to select your single-serve cup or pitcher.

Ensure that you place your Ninja blender on a flat surface like the top of a kitchen table of your kitchen cabinet. This will help reduce the effect of the vibrations that may come from the coffee bean blending.

Next, plug in your blender and get it ready.

Step 3: Fill the container depending on the type you use

Do not fill the blender cup with the coffee as this may disturb the coffee from blending properly.

I’ll advise you fill it up to half or 3/4 if you want a coarser grain for your coffee bean.

Ensure that the top of your Ninja blender is fixed firmly before you switch your blender on. Failure to do this may result in your coffee getting out of the blender and pouring all over your table, or counter.

Step 3: For a single-serve cup, you should pulse up to 12 times

Pulse up to 8-12 times until you get the best texture that you want.

A position 1 of your coffee blender will also make a slow and steady grounded coffee that has been controlled by your pulse.

Step 4: Your coffee is ready to brew!

Now you can go ahead and brew your coffee just as you want it.

Step 5: Clean your Ninja Blender After Use

As important as blending your coffee beans in a Ninja blender is, so is cleaning up of the blender when you are done. You must ensure that you undergo deep and proper cleaning of your blender so as to keep it useful and well maintained.

How to clean the Ninja Blender while blending

The Ninja blender is a powerful motor which produces a powerful result after blending. It comes with 1500 watts of power; this will be able to handle all your grinding needs. The ninja blender has multiple sharp blades which can handle most of the things you throw in it. Unlike other blenders that have several parts to be put together before they can work, the Ninja needs just the pitcher and the motor base for it to work.

To clean your Ninja blender properly, you need to take these simple steps

Rinse the blender as fast as possible

Rinse the lids of the containers thoroughly immediately you are done grinding. The purpose of the lid is to avoid having any leaks or spills while blending.

If you do not close the lid it will make it difficult to clean up the blender after use. Make sure you use hot water while to remove the food particles that might have been stuck while you were grinding.

It is important you also remove the detach the blades and rinse thoroughly to prevent food particles sticking to it. Be careful when washing the blade as this is pretty sharp and may cut your hands if you are not careful.

Use Handwashing

Even though the Ninja blender is dishwasher safe, it Is advisable you make use of your hands to wash this machine, suspend the use of dishwasher for some time.

This will help reduce the risk of jamming your dishwasher while grinding. As for the blades it is best to wash it with hands once you are done grinding.

If you want to wash your container in a dishwasher it is usually risky because the hot water may even melt the container. If the container melts, it will result in the container not being able to fit inside the base and the lids.

Remember to handle the parts with care

Be careful of the sharp blades and also be careful to not break the container of the Ninja blender when you are grinding.

By following these simple methods, you are extending the life span of your ninja blender and it will make you continue to enjoy your blender after you have spent a good amount of money to buy it, you should care for it so that it continues to serve you for a very long time.

Customer review on this product:

‘’I got this to grind spices like caraway seeds. I don’t know if you’ve ever tried grinding caraway seeds using a mortar and pestle, but I found it to be a long workout that seemed to accomplish nothing. This Ninja coffee & spice grinder did the trick.

The owner’s guide that comes with the grinder has a “grinding coffee chart” that tells you how long to grind based on how many tablespoons of whole coffee beans and it differentiates between grinding for a French press, the Ninja Coffee bar (or your drip coffee maker), as well as for making espresso.

The “grinding spices” chart tells you how long to grind based on how many tablespoons of whole spices you’re using and whether you want a coarse, medium, or fine grind. My experience has been that with a quick rinse the unit is ready for the top rack of the dishwasher. Easy peasy.’’

FINAL VERDICT
The XSKBGA is a powerful and very portable coffee grinder that does not occupy so much space when it is stored.

Customer review on this product:

I got this for my boyfriend for Christmas and he has used it almost twice a day, every day since. It’s very sturdy and durable.

Make sure you put it on a stable surface before using. We originally put it on top of our roll-away dishwasher and it was so strong that it made the entire thing shake and move around. IT has suction cups on the bottom to keep it from scooting across the counter though so that’s a good feature.

I love the auto-IQ buttons. I am impressed. not sure why but it doesn’t seem to work as well on black berry seeds.

Maybe they’re tougher? I haven’t had any leaking problems with the blade or lid attachments. I will say though, don’t put either attachment on too tightly or you may struggle to get it off. It seems to suction itself onto the cup.

A few times I got worried that I wouldn’t be able to get the lid off. I also find all the pieces easy to clean. Overall, great product! Worth every penny!

FINAL VERDICT
This product is value for money, be rest assured that it will meet your needs for grinding coffee beans even though there are some complaints that this product may be too loud.

You should test and see for yourself and you will not be disappointed..

Customer review on this product:

So happy with this blender, I was looking at it for a while and finally decided to get it and it was worth it. It crushes ice to slush instantly and blends everything so fast love it.

I love that it came with two single-serve cups, what I did not like is that it was delivered in the original box that says “Ninja Blender” not in an Amazon box which was upsetting because anyone could have stolen it when it was left on my front porch.

It also did not come in white and block box that most of the Ninja blenders come in because of that I thought maybe it was not brand new, but I spoke to Amazon who ensure me that is how Amazon received them from the company and everything looked brand new with, I also wish the cord was more easily stored you have to keep pushing it in.

I wish it had a button to just reel cord in. Anyway, if you are thinking of buying the Ninja go for it you won’t be disappointed. I’m giving it 4 stars because of the way it was delivered and because of the chord but other than that I’m very happy with it.
